The Bridge in Prestbury Village, sitting proudly on the Banks of the River Bollin, has become a focal point in this historic Cheshire village, providing excellent food, drink, accommodation and entertainment to the bustling community.

Dating back to 1626, The Bridge emits a charm and character that even the most hardened visitor will struggle to ignore. Prestbury was a prominent location for silk manufacturing at the turn of the last century, and many of the historic workers' cottages can be seen today just a short walk from our Grade II listed venue.

Located on the prestigious Prestbury high street, the Bridge is complimented by a collection of carefully curated shops, cafes and restaurants, from Base Pizzeria to Henry’s Café, Prestbury Flowers to Rococo, our incredible neighbours nestled in the village work hard to preserve the family-friendly community that Prestbury is known for. Just a stone’s throw from The Bridge is Prestbury railway station which connects our little village to the main lines of Manchester and London.

If you’re into your outdoor pursuits, Prestbury has it all – the local tennis club is just a short walk from the high street, while Prestbury Golf Club, with its lush greens and sloping hills, provides a course not to be missed for the avid golfer. Alongside this are many popular walks around Prestbury, from the Bollin Valley Walk to the historic Hare Hill House.

As all of our properties are located in the heart of Cheshire, we are lucky to be supplied by some of the very best local suppliers, from James, the lovely man at the Tea from the Manor, to the incredible team at Cheshire Gin Distillery to the excellent butchers at Altham’s providing the best quality meats for our ‘grill’ selection. We like to champion all things local, which gives farmers the fairest prices for their produce, suppliers source the very best ingredients, and we can see the journey very literally from farm to plate.
